PAWS
A teacher noticed that you made a bad choice today.
Take a deep breath.
You may be angry or upset or disappointed, and that's okay. But take a deep breath anyway.
We all make mistakes. Part of fixing your mistakes is seeing what you did, how it affected other people, and what we can do to get better in the future. That's what your job is right now.

I made a mistake. How do I make things better?

1. Fill out the PAWS form. Give thoughtful answers.
2. Think about what you wrote about tonight. How can you make it better?
3. Talk to the people involved (teacher or students.) If you don't know what to say, try:
- Telling them what you did wrong.
- Telling them how you hurt them.
- Telling them what you are going to do to make it better
- LISTENING TO THEM! They may be just as mad or upset as you are.
